All About Summer Impressions

For the past 18 years, Summer Impressions Day Camp has provided children ages 3 ½ to 10 years old with the ultimate summer day camp experience.

Conveniently located in West Bloomfield, Michigan in Oakland County on Middlebelt Rd. between Lone Pine and Long Lake, our state-of-the-art facilities offer all of the activities of a “country” camp within easy reach of Farmington Hills, Bloomfield Hills, Commerce Township and other Oakland County communities.

Our campers participate in a variety of sports, arts and crafts, science and nature, and creative dramatics, along with field trips for campers 6 years and older.

Swimming in the heated Summer Impressions pools, designed especially for children, is a twice-daily event at camp. Our bowl-shaped wading pool with a depth of only 18 inches provides an excellent introduction to the fun of water sports. The S-shaped pool, with a depth of 21/2 feet to 4 feet, allows elementary to excellent swimmers an opportunity to perfect their swimming skills under the guidance of our professional Red Cross water safety instructors.

The division of our campers by age into “three camps under one sky” assures a satisfying, fun-filled experience for every age. Our “Cool Kids Camp” is an introduction to the summer day camp experience, with activities especially geared for those 3 and 4 year-old children.

The “Awesome Adventurers Camp” offers more challenging activities for our 5 and 6 year-olds. From sports to swimming to science and drama, the choices are bountiful.

The “Energetic Explorers Camp” provides the older child with lots of variety in activity selection. These campers, ages 7-10, participate in the planning process, resulting in unique schedules for all.

New for this year, Summer Impressions has created a Junior Counselors-In-Training program. JR. C.I.T.'s who are looking for a summer of fun while learning new responsibilities and leadership should contact us for more details!

Don't forget that Summer Impressions offers an extended camping day at no additional charge. Campers can start as early as 7 AM or stay as late as 6 PM.

Also, Summer Impressions now offers an extended summer, with summer day camp sessions going until August 29!
